Dear Families and Community Partners,
On Friday, July 25, 2025—what would have been Hannah Ostrea's 17th birthday—Robert and Carrie Ostrea announced that the Little Miss Hannah Foundation (LMHF) will be closing its operations. In response to this transition and the ongoing need for support services, amazing LMHF families, community medical/therapeutic, and educational partners have launched Accessible Adaptability, a new 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to continuing vital services for Southern Nevada's medically complex community.
Hannah's Enduring Impact
The Little Miss Hannah Foundation was established in 2012 by Robert and Carrie Ostrea in memory of their daughter Hannah, who passed away at age three from a rare genetic disorder. Faced with limited local resources during Hannah's illness, the Ostrea's founded LMHF to ensure no family would navigate such challenges alone.
Over the past 13 years, LMHF's remarkable impact includes:
Supporting over 350 Southern Nevada families
Providing more than 400 pieces of essential medical and therapy equipment
Creating a vibrant community through social gatherings, support groups, and events like the Vegas Cares About Rare 5K
Hannah's spirit of resilience and compassion inspired this extraordinary legacy of hope and connection for families facing rare and complex medical challenges.
Continuing the Mission Through Accessible Adaptability
Accessible Adaptability is committed to carrying forward LMHF's vital work while creating engaging new initiatives for Southern Nevada's medically complex community. Our comprehensive services include:

The Transition Timeline
While LMHF will conclude operations by December 2025, the foundation's website will continue as a resource support page for families in the rare disease and medically complex community. Moving forward, LMHF will refer new families to Accessible Adaptability, ensuring continuous support for our community.
As the Ostrea family takes time to reflect on 13 incredible years of service, they remain committed to discovering new ways to honor Hannah's memory. Robert, Carrie, Ethan, and Abigail extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Las Vegas community for years of unwavering support that has transformed lives and provided hope to countless families.
