Marisela Quintero, LMSW

Marisela brings over 20 years of experience supporting children and families. Marisela holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a graduate of the Governor’s Council on Disability program. She is a licensed social worker as well as a Tobii Dynavox Consultant for Nevada. Marisela also has a daughter with a rare medical complex syndrome.  She is deeply committed to promoting inclusive practices and empowering underserved communities. 

  

Her professional background includes impactful work as a social worker in Las Vegas and as a dedicated advocate for individuals with disabilities. Currently, in her role with Tobii Dynavox for Nevada, she offers specialized expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She passionately supports individuals in gaining a voice through the use of AAC, ensuring access to meaningful communication for all. 

  

As a wife, mother of 3, and proud parent of a daughter with Rett Syndrome, she offers both professional expertise and invaluable personal insight into the challenges faced by families in the special needs community. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Marisela is passionate about ensuring that families—regardless of language or background—have access to the support and services they need. Marisela is incredibly proud to serve on the board and make a meaningful impact. Her lived experience, cultural competence, and unwavering dedication to advocacy continue to make a lasting impact in the communities she serves.
