Jeanette Hommerson, MBA, is a devoted mother and dedicated advocate for individuals with special needs and their families, a mission deeply personal and inspired by her son Xander, who has medically complex needs. Jeanette possesses a Master of Business Administration (MBA), along with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Accounting and Finance, graduating summa cum laude. Her professional background includes experience in Project Management, complemented by her profound personal journey as the mother of a child with complex medical needs. Jeanette and her husband Brett have been proud supporters and donators of the Little Miss Hannah Foundation for years and be moving forth with supporting advocacy for Accessible Adaptability.
Jeanette is a highly experienced accounting professional with a substantial work history within the design industry, demonstrating an aptitude for advanced management, finance, customer service, and sales. “I understand the complexities and joys of balancing family, care, and advocacy. “
Married to Brett, retired U.S. Air Force veteran, Jeanette is the mother of two wonderful sons, with her youngest son, Xander requiring intense medical intervention. Xander is a remarkable 15-year-old boy who was born with Disorder of the Corpus Callosum, Septo-Optic Dysplasia, and Perry-Romberg Syndrome. Jeanette has direct experience in navigating the challenges associated with blindness, seizure disorder, cognitive and physical developmental delays, and non-ambulatory issues. “Through our son Xander, we’ve partnered with countless therapists, educators, and organizations to create a path of inclusion, support, and growth.”
